Hi,
am testing Octane 2.0 and Alembic import.
So bringing in an Alembic animation from Maya is easy but I can't see the animated camera.
I connected the corresponding camera output pin to a new rendertarget... but no camera animation...
Any ideas or different workflow?

I can export animated cameras from Maya with no problems. Have you tried to export all instead of export selected?

Hi Rikk,
allright I could manage to see the camera but I have one question. When I export the scene in meters everything works fine but if I work and export in mm and set the scale of the Scene-Node to mm the camera will not scale down along the scene.
So a scene modelled in mm will show up in the correct camera view if I set the prefs to meters but then I get the circular artefacts that are known for wrong scaling issues.

So what to do if you have a scene in mm with animated cameras?

Thanks for the help

I don't have the scene at hand right now, but if I remember correctly, I used the default settings, so mm. During the beta testing I had some problem with alembic camera from Maya, but they fixed it, so it should work, as long as you use the same unit in Octane.
The Circular artifact are a Ray epsilon problem, if you increase it, they will go away.
