Just looking for some critiques on this. I think I'm done? But always looking to push the realism and what not.

I think I want to make the furniture a bit shinier.

What do u want to achieve? Or in other words where do u want the attention of the viewer? Right now you are leading the viewers attention to the blurry, overexposed exterior.

I can hardly focus on the room itself.

Mmm I was thinking the teapot/couch area. Perhaps I should try adding something colourful in that area? Maybe a plant could go on that table?

Well, here is a bit of an update. I tried to make the glare a bit less,and added some trees to the background. Is it too much or is it in the right direction? It's a bit grainy cause I didn't render it to the max but just wanted to update one last time before I go for a final render.

This is looking nice. The trees you added in the background seem a little bit strong in color/contrast, can you change anything to match more like say the grass. Apart from that I think it's looks great.

Keep it up.

Contrast = focus

Keep it in mind.

Looks much better! Still i would make the exterior a bit darker and less saturated. The contrasty saturated trees still grab more attention than the interior thats not what u want. Bring more light to the front.

I actually decided to get rid of the trees, maybe I will put them in but farther away instead? But I tried using a different hdri and I think the quality of light looks better. The trees tend to get in the way of it so that's mainly why I got rid of them. I was also hoping that the window frames with the blinds down helped with the glare enough.

The old HDRI had a green tint. This one has a blue one wich in general looks better. U could still take a little bit out in Post or trough white balance. I still dont like the overexposed exterior. Its Pure white and the light situation in ur room looks more like an Overcast sky. So the exterior would never appear that bright unless u made some weird camera settings?

Well Hdr could probably do that (I enjoy taking hdr photos). But I do see your point, I will try to do a render with the trees farther back and see if that helps.
