What if you own two/multiple plugins and one stand alone license, and purchase the stand alone upgrade to 2.0? Will you get a free upgrade on both plugins you own? Has anybody figured this one out? I don't want to miss the boat on this free plugin upgrade offer.

If I don't use the stand alone, can I upgrade just the plug in or I need to upgrade the stand alone, get the voucher and then upgrade the plugin?

You need to upgrade Standalone, then you can upgrade the Poser plugin at no cost (for a limited period of time).
