Amazing renders, but in the last one I couldn't tell that the darker toned wall was actually on the same angle, so it really confused me that the painting didn't appear to be sitting on the wall properly. I had to check the first render to realise it was actually the same wall. Bit of a weird illusion, that.

Yep, that's normal, the two walls are not on the same plane.
