I am strongly considering purchasing octane render now, when it is on sale for half the price.
At the moment I don't even have a Nvidia CUDA ready GFX card, but my next computer will, so here is my question.

If I purchase Octane Render BETA now. Can I upgrade it, and if yes - how long?
Because, if I can't I'll rather save the money now and purchase an up to date version when I get my computer.

no problem.

you can buy the license now and activate it, then reactivate it when you're new PC comes.
you can activate up to 3 times (but not all at once), and after 3 times we decide on a personal basis.

thank you your very fast reply, radiance.
Okay, I'm set on purchasing, and I always feel good about supporting new interesting software like Octane, in the beginning.

Last question. I tried running the demo, but it exited because my hardware isn't good enough. Can I still activate my license now(right after i buy) or can I wait and activate after I get my next computer sometime in the future?

yes, you can reactivate 3x (but not at once), and we process the 4th or more on a personal basis.

a reformat should'nt change your key.
swapping the disc with another one will.

Hmm, I should have read agreement carefully (about activation) before buying. Is there a reason for such a measure? Is it system drive only dependent?
Off-topic, but it'd be nice to have any signed or so physical evidence of license. Makes talk with authorities easier (yes, I live in a stone age :D ).
