This is driving me crazy. When I make a new hdri environment and put select an HDRI for the image texture file, I can see the HDRI as a thumbnail but it doesn't show in the viewport. It also doesn't seem to affect the scene at all. I've trying turning on and off "keep environment" and "alphachannel" but there has to be something else I'm not doing right. I'm using the most recent version. 1.54.1
Anybody have any experience with this?

do you have single environment object? Can you show me scene structure?

Sure, here's one.

As you can see I have a simple cube with an octane glossy material on it and an octane sky with the same texture as the one Dominik used in his Ferrari tutorial. I literally followed step by step what he did and I can't make it show up at all. This is so confusing. Is there a way to make the octane settings go back to defaults? Maybe I changed something in there.
Thanks aoktar!

can you try some different textures or recreating sky object and manually place a octane environment tag. Can you render some other scenes?
