Bendbox wrote:Awesome job O! As always :) And that is a fast turn around man! The lighting portion under the building looks absolutely killer.
Thank you sir!

I would normally not accept a job with such a tight turnaround, but as soon as he said apple, I was like, "Oh. Ta-daaaa!".

Besides, we had all the assets already. And it's part of a much larger project.

best,
O

Remind me never to have a Architectural CG Render off race with you mate... I'd lose.

Very nice lighting and mood. All those people are waiting for their appointment at the genius bar :>) But you already have that all taken up : > ))

Nice one!!!

I've done the same thing. In fact, I'm working on a project now, that I knew from the beginning would end up not being a great deal for me financial wise, but could (and is) ending up opening the doors to a MUCH larger project that will end up being a great deal. It's often a gamble!

As for your 3D people, you mentioned they were low poly. Have you ever tried these?: https://secure.axyz-design.com/ They are GREAT quality.

That's seems like a bit heavy model for SketchUp. Hope you didn't have to do anything with it except export.

Hey Oiltech-

Beautiful job man! Especially considering the time. Really nicely done. Very impressed with the people too. I hate using 2D people. The lighting never works. It's so obvious. What you've done there is very impressive. Can you point me to your favorite source for good 3D people models? I've had hit and miss luck there.

Keep it up buddy.

Alec, thanks man!

We use 3d people from these collections:
http://www.doschdesign.com/products/3d/ ... eople.html
https://secure.axyz-design.com/metropoly-3d-people

Although I think it's time we upgraded to the most recent collections. The libraries we have are many years old...

Bendbox. Thanks! We do use Axyz, but not the current ones. Thanks for the tip!

best,
O
