Hey Roland,
Is there a chance of getting the alembic fix soon? I don't know when the next scheduled release is. My client is wanting the final video but I can't get the shake out of that segment I sent you.

I was hoping to get the build done today, but there were too many changes that needed to be merged into the stable branch. But on Monday (NZ time) we should have a 1.54 out. It will also add Maxwell support.

Apologies for the trouble.

Awesome!

Thanks a lot :)

On a side note for the render error I was getting on that other animation. We ran it on another computer with the exact same hardware and had no problems overnight. Then ran some more of it on the computer that got the error twice, and it was fine for over 8 hours, then got the same error. We ran a very similar animation overnight and had no problems. I don't know if it's a hardware or software problem :(

Hey Abstrax, if it helps you guys figure things out, we just cut our camera in half for that animation with a lot of shaking. We duplicated it and deleted half the keyframes for each. Just tested it and it looks like it removed the shaking.
So maybe with so much going on with the camera (we had a very quick movement, about 90 degrees in 1 frame) it caused problems.

@Elvissuperstar007 : I don't see any mesh Preview Camera node in your setup. Are you sure that you are adjusting the aperture on the selected camera ? Aperture works perfectly on my machine with 1.53.1

We ran into another CUDA error last night when running an animation.
This is on a different computer than the one that had the other error and a different animation. The hardware is the same between both computers though, a 780 ti and a 690
