Hi JimStar,
So I found a new strange behavior with building texture and shaders. Sometime the texture not building at all or just white texture. In the video below, solved by building a new glossy shader, but sometime not worked and need to build a diffuse shader. And sometime not work at all and need to try differents shaders.
My network contains a procedural, that made the same problem of building during connection, need to restart render. But without procedural, the problem can be present too.
Hope can help to improve the plugins.

When using the lens shift it becomes hard to point an object to select a material in the viewport while rendering, it seems that for instance if y shift is used, you must click upper or lower based on the y value to point the object, very confusing.

I set a texture in the Octane environment pane and added a rotation transformation node.
It doesn't seem to work or I may missed something. Only the third value (I presume the z axe) has an effect but it doesn't rotate as expected, seems to rotate on x or y axe, the two first values don't have any effect
Any idea ?

I used the Full Transform node > Translation like it was said in this topic, changing x,y or z value but it didn't work yesterday.
I try again today and it works if rotation z isn't 0 (just 0.001 is ok). In fact the closer to zero this value is, the slower the rotation.
Then using translation and changing y value, it rotates the envmap.
Thank you.
Cheers, Arnaud

Glad you've found a solution. However, in my case rotating the envmap works just like I described here:naudofr wrote:I used the Full Transform node > Translation like it was said in this topic, changing x,y or z value but it didn't work yesterday.

(scroll down a couple of posts)
I leave Rotation at 0 and use only X - Translation for "looking around" and Y - Translation for moving the envmap up and down.

I read yesterday also this topic and I followed what you said but unfortunately without success.
But I have tried again today and it works now. In fact I used in Properties > Scene > Units > Metric and it doesn't work with that.
Using None instead works very well now.
Thank you

I first used the translation as this makes sense but without success, I tried again today and well, it seems to workkubicki3d wrote:Use the Full Transform node > Translationenricocerica wrote:I set a texture in the Octane environment pane and added a rotation transformation node.

Will make some more tests and will be back in case of problem.
Thanks
