Just to be sure as I am about to send someone to Fry's to grab a GTX-780, I can just throw that baby in with the K4000 that's already in there and Windows 7 will play nice and so will Octane, right? Are there any settings I should know about. I'd hate to burn up office equipment.
nothing to worry about, just take a look if Your power supply is capable of delivering enough power to cards. 780 need about 250W under load.
I don't know what model You're getting, just to let You know If You're grabing 3gb =) wait a bit as 6gb is going out..-actually listed in some shops already..
basicly for 100$/EU extra You can get the same card that has twice the vRAM 6GB instead of 3 (as it was in old model =)
