light and the gless problem

hello,
I tried to render simple lamp model. I couldnt mannage to display the light source behind the glass. Does anybody know why? In another word to say my problem is; i put the sphere which is assigned light emission into a glass object which is cone.

i use c4d demo plugin.

Hi basat,

Most likely you can solve the problem one of two ways:

1) Enable "fake shadows" on the specular/glass material of the cone.
2) Use PMC or Path Tracing Kernel and give it some time to show.
