Arguably one of the greatest artists who ever lived, and the one that has had the most profound impact on me as an artist (and as a fan of science fiction - specifically sci-fi horror), has left us... This is truly a sad day for anyone who was touched or inspired by his undeniable vision and talent. H.R. Giger was one of the greats. Alien is, and will always be, my favorite film. And I will be forever grateful to Mr. Giger just for his contribution to Alien alone...
