I can no longueur use maya exporter plug in as it's making errors.
Will be there an update ?
Is there an other way to export maya camera to octane ?
You can just use alembic, you don't need it to be incorporated into the plugin.
Just select all the geometry and the camera/s you wish to export and then export selected as alembic using the options in the pipeline cache menu. (you can just export all but that will get every camera and possibly some other stuff you don't need in Octane so probably better to export selected) The only option you should need to change in the advanced options is to turn on uv write.

In Octane create a render target and then import the alembic and connect up the geometry and camera pins to the matching pins on the render target. You need to turn off merge materials with same name in the Octane alembic import options to get multiple materials as I don't think Maya's default alembic export options support materials yet. (this is a bit of a pain as multiple objects with the same material in Maya will have separate pins in Octane)

That is why a script would be awesome :).
