Hi
Just in case it might help the developers.

Octane 3ds max plug 1.2 - 3.5 mil pol scene takes 1 minute to open in Octane preview,
If Octane viewport is paused 3ds max 2014 viewport drops to 10-15 fps

Octane 3ds max plug 1.5a - 3.5 mil pol scene takes 9 minutes :( to open in Octane preview,
If Octane viewport is paused 3ds max 2014 viewport drops to around 1-2 fps

Specs: 2 GTX Titans.

The main reason of open time increasing is Octane recognizes object render settings (like subdivision, mesh/turbo smooth and so on)
Probably some objects have too high render settings (like too many iterations in mesh smooth).
