What is the content of Blender system console after you get this error?
Hi Jimstar,

error messages:
network send error
error clearing render server

hope it helps. First ive installed 4.6 beta to test it... after a few trial, i decided to give another try with older version - there works fine.

I am getting problems now. I had it deactivated from my work computer and I activated it on y home computer for this weekend (it was originally working on my home computer before putting it on my work computer).

Now I can't render anything. I keep trying to put in my user and pass and it doesnt work.
I have the newest version of both the plugin and the server

I get "network send error" in the log.
Here is what it shows:

Hi Kavorka, it looks similar to my current problem that Jim is hardly working on. Try to launch Blender without your logins/passwords in the fields. For my own, I also have big troubles with Alembic export (Long export of animations give file in wrong place, and alembic node with no pins), but if you only want to render Inside Blender it might work as a temporary workaround.

Hi Kavorka,

Make sure you transfer your standalone license as well.

Thanks
Chris.

Hi vis4arch,

Before starting 4.6 please try deactivating both your standalone and plugin licenses (from the customer account area of our website), see if that helps (If there have been any changes to the licensing system this may solve the problem).

Thanks
Chris.

Hey FooZe,
I have a separate license for my home computer. I made sure to put in that info in the plugin as well. I will try tomorrow at work and see if I can get it working (it was working last week with the previous version, but I haven't tried this one yet)

Thanks for your reports guys, it seems that we have found the suspect of this activation issue. Working on it...

So, I came into work and the plugin worked without me changing anything. So I think it was just activated on that comp the whole time :(
thing is, I deactivated it last week and it said it wasn't activated in my customer area...

Weird.

Anyway, its working great now :)

Is there by any chance a material override for a "clay" render in the plugin?

I am trying to render out something in the plugin but I can't get the direct light kernel to render out like I have it in the stand alone.

My direct lighting in the plugin comes in very dark compared to the stand alone. The only difference between these 2 images is I took out the windows in the plugin to see if it would help.
Is there something I am doing wrong, or is this a known issue?
