I am really excited about all the new features coming in the next installment of octane render.
However, one thing i am currently missing a lot, is more rendering features for maya particles. One thing i is that we still have to instance the particles in order to render them, it would be so much easier if we could use the already existing render types, like sprites, points, and cloud.
But one thing i miss a lot right now, is to be able to hook the particleSampler node to an Octane material.
Another thing i thought is missing, is the rendering of fluids. With the already existing medium node it shouldn't be that difficult to override the native fluid shader and render fluids, right ?
now, these things are just features that I am missing, but i don't know if you guys agree on these things ?
also, i do think that this renderer is already awesome and really look forward to the new displacement and hair features, along with all the other features
