Handles for the placement node?

I´ve been playing around with the placement node. Is it planned to add handles for it, instead of entering values manually? It would speed a lot the process.
AMD FX8350 8 cores. 16GBs RAM
GTX690
Win8 64.

It has been requested many times, but for now there are no news about a possible implementation.
