Hi there all you nice people, as some of you might have heard, REDSPEC is getting a webpage. it is still in the early phases and we are getting in all the ideas we can get. And since you loyal "DIE HARD" supporters are so amazing, we decided to have a challenge... Within the next few days Razor is going to upload some logos that we would like you to use in your renders. Your renders should bring out the best in the materials, and should have the logo visible anywhere in the image. Here's the ground rules...

1) Be creative(Who said you should only use humans.... let your imagination run wild, although there's also no problem with a lovely Lady

2) "NO NUDITY", Bikini Sexy, Figure study Sexy, Elegant skin showing, try and show more by showing less... you got to work with the imagination.. Please no Sexual themes.. you will find out Why a bit later

3) Anything goes as far as scene options, Portraits, Closeups, Figures, Scenes. 1 or more characters ect.

And that's it for the rules.

The winning entry's will have full access to the latest projects for free and will be hosted on the Webpage as examples of your awesomeness!

You will also be Promoted on the group to let your vision go wild.

can i use the redspec shader only in poser or also in daz with the plug-in? and if yes, how i use the shader?

As of now, we're only supporting Poser + Octane.
The full release version which will come out some time after the OctaneRender 2.0 release will also include RedSpec for DAZ Studio.

Sorry for not having any better solutions right at the moment.

There are however users which have successfully ported the currently available shaders to DAZ3D.

WOW - We have some very busy months behind us.
I just wanted to update this thread to let everybody know that RedSpec TGX - our SSS skin shader - is shaping up really nicely and that we're just in the final polishing touches not far away from the official release.
We don't want to put ourselves too much under stress, so we're not going to name a release date just yet.

POSER 9 / 10 or POSER Pro 2012 / 2014 with Service Release 3.1 or higher installed.

In order to import Genesis or Genesis 2 figures into Poser you'll need the DSON Importer for Poser which is currently available for free at http://www.daz3d.com
Furthermore a working and fully licensed version of the OCTANERENDER FOR POSER PLUG-IN Version 1.5 or below needs to be installed.
A basic understanding of OctaneRenders node system and structure is required, in order to customize the shader.
