hello everyone!
in my scene i have this cigarette pack, all the graphics are not reflective( and i am using a diffuse material for that) but the logo is super reflective and with a bump.
i have tried to stuck on my pack 2 different materials with alpha, like i would have done with c4d standard materials.
and i have tried the octane mix materials, but i cant figure out how does it works!
pls help!

hi,
you need a b&w map where, for example, the white is the diffuse material and the black the glossy part, and then assign the mask map to the 'amount' channel in the mix material

Hi,
I did this, but I also need to place a logo onto circular brush metal texture.
So I need to place the logo in a certain position and the circular brush metal texture in an other position.
How can I do this with only one mix material applied ?
Thanks,

Can't you mix 2 mix materials ?
Using the same principle for mixing them (B&W texture).

1. use the main material for box
2. use material which has bump and reflection and check "mix materials"
it should work this way
