Hi
I love octane and planning to use for animations.
The sun light system is great, mesh light is great except interiors or night scenes have way too much noise. Please add an option to smudge noise where light bounced to.
Seems like where light shines it is a perfect image but where light bounces to it is way to noisy and filter size just blurs the whole image.
Please add an option of noise free bounced area even if it is not accurate like CPU renders have or a bounce smudge option like AA. Thank you

If you have noise, you probably ought to raise your pixel samples. What you are essentially asking for is for a renderer to be two renderers in one at the same time, or to have a Photoshop add-on. Either use Photoshop to do your "smudging," or raise your Samples per pixel until the noise is gone.

You may also consider using portals if you are doing indoor scenes, as they are designed to make calculations more efficient. A thread search will probably lead you to the very informative threads on their use.

It's not the renderer's fault if you choose to tell it to (or let it) stop before it has gotten far enough to remove noise, and don't look for any of the already available tools to make it get there faster or more efficiently.
