I'm satisfied with render power of Octane. But I think I need to get more familiar with Mix material node.
My bullet was consist of 2 materials, one for color, and one for metal. Would you guys mind to share some tips with me??? Thanks!

Johnny, you're a badass! The texture work on the gun edges is so sweet.

Try this for a simple (single) metal setup:

Glossy material
-diffuse black or dark, dark brown
-specular colour to be the colour of your metal (ie: brass=yellow/ochre)
-IOR 7 or 8

best,
O
