Really looking forward to using the displacement maps. Hoping that the blender plugin will update for it at the same time as well. Would be nice.

Meh. I guess people are just really excited because there's going to be some kick-ass features in the new release. I personally am struggling to contain my excitement.

And I totally agree, however I also realise badgering away at the devs about it wont make it appear any quicker. Some of the posts here recently are as pathetic as kids waiting for a new MMO patch and crying when it didn't appear when the devs suggested it might.

OMG 5 MINS LEFT UNTIL APRILZ IS OVER, THEY MUSTS REALLEASE THE UPDATES COS THEY SAID THEY WOULD OMG!!

Chill out, play with current Octane and I am sure 2.0 will be along in due course... ;)

I can't resist:

OMG It's 3.29 PM in Aukland. They're going to miss the deadline oh woes!!!!

Seriously though guys, if you need more time it's cool.

EDIT: Wierd. It says on google that it's 3 some PM, yet the timestamp of the post says it's 3 some AM...

WTF. Space time distortion or something...
