Hi, currently I have 2 titans but I need more render power.
The 780ti 3gb is nice so the idea is to mix 2 titans with 6gb and 2 780ti with 3gb.

Im not really sure if I´ll reach the 3gb easily, in that case Ill deactivate those 2 and let only the titans work.

so the question is, what do you think about it? and will I reach easily the 3gb cap?

thanks

mixing shouldn't be a problem at all - and I'm still working with 1.5 gb gpus, so I would say you should be OK if you don't use huge render sizes.. if the render size goes over the vram limit, it will just inform you it "failed" those GPUs and continue rendering on the ones that have enough memory

Should work... Can't be SLIed and as you say, you're stuck with 3 GB, otherwise it should be fine. Isn't EVGA releasing 6 GB 780s? There were some news. Maybe not Ti's, yet, though.

Depends on the work you do. If you use a lot of high res textures, then you can get to the cap pretty quickly. I never get close to my 2 GB cap unless I am doing big architectural scenes with lots of stuff outside, ect.
In those cases, you can just use the titans.

If You have some time..just wait a bit, soon 6GB 780s will be available..think it's better to buy those as You will be able to usee them longer & they will have better value afterwards if You want to sell them..
