Hey,
I have created a mesh with UVs in zbrush and exported a texture file. How do I setup a material with the texture in OC?
Have a look at the attached screenshots. Will be grateful for all input, thanks!
zbrush -> OC. How to apply texture?

Hmm, I'm not sureradiance wrote:are you exporting the UV mappings ?

I have been googling for info regarding UV export in zbrush but can't seem to find the info I need.
Ok, will try that.radiance wrote:maybe try PNG instead of BMP for file format for textures...

I opened up the .obj file in Cinema 4D, and the texture is messed up in C4D as well.
But when I edited the .PNG (rotate the whole image 180 degrees) and offset the X value of the Texture tag in C4D by 32%, the texture is placed correctly.
So I guess I'm missing something when I export the texture map from zbrush. Hmm...
EDIT: I figured it out! I had to choose "Flip V" when exporting the texture from zbrush
