Hey,

I have created a mesh with UVs in zbrush and exported a texture file. How do I setup a material with the texture in OC?
Have a look at the attached screenshots. Will be grateful for all input, thanks!

are you exporting the UV mappings ?
maybe try PNG instead of BMP for file format for textures...

Hmm, I'm not sure :) So far I have only clicked "Export" in the Tool panel of zbrush. Have I missed something?
I have been googling for info regarding UV export in zbrush but can't seem to find the info I need.

I opened up the .obj file in Cinema 4D, and the texture is messed up in C4D as well.

But when I edited the .PNG (rotate the whole image 180 degrees) and offset the X value of the Texture tag in C4D by 32%, the texture is placed correctly.

So I guess I'm missing something when I export the texture map from zbrush. Hmm...

EDIT: I figured it out! I had to choose "Flip V" when exporting the texture from zbrush :)

Yep, most of the time you need to flip your textures from out of Zbrush.

thats true
you need to hit the flip button in zbrush before you export the texture
it should work fine with that
or just flip the texture file in photoshop
