Hello,
I am curious if TurbulenceFD (http://www.jawset.com) smoke fire sim plugin) works with Octane C4D plugin?
Any insight is appreciated!
Thanks

It only supports the native engine, I think that would be tricky to implement, I'll ask the dev and see what he says.

Cool thanks. That aside is there a way to render fire/smoke simulations in Octane C4D?
I work in the fire protection manufacturing industry and I would love if we can do fire and smoke or at least bring them into Octane.

Haven't heard back yet.
I think it is possible, as we already have a volumetric shader in Octane, but I imagine it'd require a lot of work to feed the sim data to Octane.

Is there any documentation on Octane's volumetric shader? I haven't been able to find anything
yes you can see, pls do a search for keywords volumetrics or clouds.Bowser16NB wrote:Is there any documentation on Octane's volumetric shader? I haven't been able to find anything
