A beginner's guide to using the cloud workstation ami

Could someone please post a beginner's guide to getting started with the cloudworkstation ami

I just got everything setup and used the otoy docs at http://aws.otoy.com/docs/to connect to my instance at https://aws.otoy.com/?connect=//<aws-public-ip>/?NOCRYPTO=1;STATUS=1;AUTOLOCK=0;WAN=12;GUID=<my-guid>, but all i get is a blank screen. Have tried rebooting, stopping and restarting the instance, but no luck.

I have placed my instance in the asia pacific tokyo region, and am running ubuntu 13.04 with firefox version 26.

Could somebody please help? Thank you.

Thanks for the reply, but I should have mentioned that I am running the linux cloud workstation and after trying all the steps mentioned in the official guide and playing around with some of the parameter settings in the URL, I still get a blank screen which ends up timing out. Is the linux workstation ami stable yet or can I use only windows? Thank You,

i'm sorry. i am also completely new to ami. this was what i found googling a help for windows. i can't tell u more. but i can also ask the otoy team to answer some questions in the forum... because i also have some -
