Why does it sometimes blur?

Maybe the camera has checked auto focus and parts of the object aren´t in the middle of the screen?

Sounds like the auto focus.
By default it is in the middle of the screen.
You can also hit the F key and click manually where you want it. (this turns off AF)

Also... you can open the camera and set the aperture to zero. That will make the whole thing come into focus.
You will lose the blur in the background (think it's called bokeh or something like that) but your whole scene will come into focus then.
