Hi Paul,

I'm having batch rendering issues after upgrading to SR8 and 1.32. I've found out that these issues seem to be related to saving and importing render targets in Octane. The issue is ONLY with rendering with the Rhino viewport, which is why batch rendering is affected. The octane viewport renders perfectly.

When running a batch render, the Rhino viewport will correctly render the resolution from the Octane settings, BUT the camera scale is off. I've gone through the settings in the Octane tree and the "scale" pin is changed upon importing a render target. So, if you set up a scene and render with the Rhino window, it will render correctly UNTIL you import a render target, or save a render target and exit and re-enter the Rhino scene. Again, the Octane viewport still renders as it is supposed to, it is only the Rhino viewport that does not render the correct scale. I hope this makes sense, if not let me know and I'll explain further with screenshots. Thanks.

Thanks for the info.

Is your "Use Viewport Rendertarget Geometry When Rendering" ticked or unticked? If ticked, are you opening the Viewport prior to Rhino rendering, or is it closed?

Thanks

I have found the potential cause of this and have a test build for you to try. It requires Rhino SR8. http://render.otoy.com/customerdownload ... _64bit.exe. Pls let me know if it resolves your issue.

It is ticked. And I've tried both opening and not opening the viewport prior to Rhino rendering.
