Like this feature it would be awesome if we have an ability to open octane scene from standalone application directly in lightwave.. I hope with this feature we can have fully textured scenes in Lightwave (with all the octane material nodes already setup in surface panel)
I don't know if its possible but just a wild thought :)

I agree.

Because actually I have a pb when I export the scene from lightwave with the "save scene " . The *.ocs seems to be correctly saved , no error message , but when I want to open the scene in the standalone , I get an error message " octane scene is not compatible with your octane version".
Do you have this pb too?

Best Regards

Are you sure that you are using the same version of the plugin and of the Standalone? ... for example to open an .ocs file from the last plugin beta (that uses the 1.36 Octane core) you need the Standalone 1.36

Hi Juanjo

I have the 1.2 octane standalone version and the 1.25 LW plugin version.

I should have the 1.25 standalone version ?

There's later versions of both.
