I'm in the peanut gallery, but I vote C because it's got that real cool Michael Mann (miami vice) grading.

Awesome as usual.

best,

Image

would be immensely thankful if someone could send me in the right direction
how can i export animation from maya to octane standalone ?
as we all know object do not have anim data
and alembic , while having animations and vertex deformation do not support material ( only come with one material )
do not want to use teh script with obj sequence .. since iw ould not get motion blur on the vert deformation
i am super frustrated right now and look forward to any help

thank you

hi,
i work with c4d but my workflow is to split the scene in three, static meshes exported as usual via obj, animated meshs exported via alembic and corrected via lua script, multiple animated and static cameras exported in alembic.
here is the link to the lua script, basically it will give you the correct pins of materials overwriting all of them with the same name:

can't wait to see your art with octane 2.0 ;)

thank you for the input ,
the sad thing , is that alembic do not support multi material when imported into octane :-(
