The render time is about 40min to 1hour with a single GTX680M(3000pix) , DL-Diffuse mode , about 2.5Ms/s-3.0Ms/s when rendering , with hundreds of tiny lights set up   also u may see a little blur for glass reflection(because I forgot to choose a high-res hdr file to render final :? :?  )But yeah I think Octane can handle this scene very well!

Here is the preview video , oh I also render a very shot animation for this scene, turn outs it rendering super fast(500sample,3min-5min per frame)  Looks like Octane is getting better and faster now :)

Hope u guys can enjoy this vol4 tuts! Thank you so much for supporting me!Many Thanks~~ :D :D

someone is asking about how to use external GPU via laptop(eg. a single gtx titan plug into a laptop) , well that depends on what kind of laptop u use! But the setup is quite a long talk,so I will prepare a simple video to show you how to do this! I did success adding a single gtx690 and a gtx titan into my laptop(which is MSI GT70) and I almost got the same performance as desktop's! So I think it's no speed losing(altho it will take a little bit longer when u load models into GPU,but it's about 5-30 seconds delay,it's not a big deal)
Anyway,I will try to make a video to explain this( I hate working using a desktop,I always use laptop   )

Hi K Shane,
What is your gpu expander solution for your laptop?
Do you make by yourself? :)
