Motion blur bug?
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
I have a scene with cached dynamics, and it's rendering okay, but if I add the Sub-Frame Motion Blur in the Render Setting, the Picture Viewer very quickly comes up black. It's obvious it's not even voxelising the scene. I'm on the latest build, Mac OS. Any ideas?
I haven´t Cinema but i think thats a caching problem.
The cache contains data at e.g frame 15 and frame 16 but no data for frame 15.5.
So you will also get no data or rounded data.
Rounded data means for frame 15.4 you get the data of frame 15 and for 15.5 the data of frame 16.

One solution is to generate a cache with subframes, if possible.
You can also spread up your animation, cache your dynamics and render them. In post you can retime it back.
