Hi there,

Mac pro, 800Mhz DDR2, Dual quad core, 8Gb mem

I've installed the CUDA 3.0 drivers, Quartz and then Octane. After restart I click Octane and it crashes...give me the following data... (see below)

Any ideas? :)

Funnily enough it runs just fine under win7 on the same machine...

I was planning on upgrading my old ATI X1900GT on my 1st gen Mac Pro to a GeForce 8800 GT. I was wondering if getting dual GeForce 8800 GT will help render times for Octane.

8800GT is really slow... i recommend to build new system or so with a GTX480, it will be a completely different experience.
