Beautiful test. Maybe some tips on how to get this effect for a young student octane. Can you show some screenshots of the settings screen material?

Id love to give you some tips but I am fairly new to Subsurface scattering, fall-off and dirt nodes myself. I was just playing around with them all on one model.

My node map looks like I am on crazy-pills so I do no think it would be too much help to you I am afraid? I use Mix Material a lot and then keep mixing and tweaking until i get what I am after.

Load a model and go to the Live DB site. Under stone there is a JADE material

Throw that on your model and adjust the scattering and scale parameters etc. It will teach you a lot how it works. Remember subsurface scattering is "size" dependent so the scale of your model affects how light bounces around inside.

Good luck
