Hi,

I have a rendering problem I can not solve.
I'm doing a render with a vehicle, lot of black spots appear on the body.
a picture will be clearer than words :

If i move the camera, black spots disappear :

Another exemple:

I'm using max 2013 and octane 1.18

An idea to solve it ?

Thx ;)

try to increase the rayepsilon value, I'm quite sure that that is the problem (in one of your picture I see some concentric circles that are tipically generated by incorrect rayepsilon value).

Thanx paoloverona,
The value was 0,0. I set the value to 0.001 and it works !

I installed the new version of octane and the result is really different ... (I think better but i don't understand why)
I have not changed the settings.

1.18 :

1.31 :
