I have a question about the rendering of night scene.

I am starting in octane, and would like to help me.

increase caustic blur!
Have you tried PMC kernel vs. Pathtracing, which one works faster / with less grain?

pump the samples and use Pmc, no matter if you use the caustics blur option.
because ies emitters are lights that spread light from many points they generally produce a lot of noise

Use this trick:

apply the ies texture to a plane or mesh circle, it produces less noise. change the transparency to 0.

hello gabrielefx.
To change the sharpeness of the ies effect, you scale the mesh ?
