Starting to look pretty good. We have been focused heavily on workflow efficiency - so everything has changed considerably since the initial videos and screenshots. Now, rather than having the various Octane info sources in different places - you access everything from one main screen - so kernels, cameras, viewport controls and material editing is all done here. You can drag Modo "image maps" onto the canvas and connect them to Octane nodes. When you select an Octane Override in the Shader Tree - it's automatically selected in the material editor. So you can open the Octane Viewport and material pick off it, and the Octane node layouts appear on the editing Schematic.

The only thing not done is the conversion of Modo procedural textures (like checks, etc). So far this has not be raised as a requirement by the beta test group, since putting the Octane material together is quite streamlined - however I can see it being an important item for some users.

Aiming for a late-Feb release.

Paul

I haven't personally tested Mesh Fusion - but one of the beta testers indicated it works - if you freeze the mesh first.

Replicators are supported.

Static meshes and proxies are not yet supported - but planned (after the first release).

A Linux version will happen - but it might take some time. I really need to get the Windows version stable and complete before tackling the Mac OSX and Linux versions.
