This should be a no brainer but I am lost.

No matter what month, day or time of day I set nothing changes ... my latitude and longitude are correct but shadows are always in the same place and rotate with the model.

I need a little help please.
thanks
eric

Hi Eric

It would help if you posted a screenshot of your Octane node setup for the Rendertarget->Environment, so we can see exactly how you have things setup.

Thanks Paul,

Found it!

I was just about to edit or eliminate the last post ... it is a no brainer ... I just had missed a toggle so I was not set for daylight though I had thought I was.

Next time I will take a deeper breath and search again before sending you dumb questions.
