Hey!

Alright, I'm gonna get right down to it. We are in the process of trying to set up Octane to match our needs. Right now I need to get a clean alpha-channel, with objects masking and getting masked out, keeping the Octane DoF and all nice things Octane offers. However I keep running into a problem; when I apply a matte-material and hit render, I get this weird.. shadow(?).. residue of some sort.

I really don't get what's happening here, anyone? See images below.

Never mind, I seem to have found a solution. If I put a mask material on objects I don't want, and a spec material on the things I do want, the alpha comes out clean.
