Hey all,

Not sure if this has been addressed, but has anyone had issues with the scale of texture maps being misrepresented in rhino? Not sure if its an issue with units or something, but here's an example of a live db perf metal that is much larger in scale in rhino, then when rendered its about right. If i adjust the texture mapping to work in rhino, then it scales down in octane.

If i go through the octane material and manually adjust it's scale sliders to be similar, it then doesn't effect the rhino display, so it's possible to make them match, but a bit of work.

Thanks for any tips! I'm using the 29_08 build and working in inches as my units in rhino.

In this case - I think the plugin is providing the Rhino preview window with the incorrect scale. The process to communicate an Octane material to the Rhino preview window is via a "summary" of the material - and is pretty basic, so you will never get a precise match - but texturemap scales should be able to be transferred. I will fix this in the next version.
