some textures aren't rendering?

I'm trying to render a scene, but sometimes the textures go missing in octane render and is replaced by a white clay texture. I don't know if this is a memory problem or something, but i still have a lot of unused memory in the vram stats. Anyone have any insights on why this is happening?

Thanks for the reply. I tried the method you suggested, and it only works on some parts of the characters. When i put one cop in the scene, everything shows up, but when i put the other cop in the scene the materials from the first cop disappears. The materials from the first cop gets unlinked in octanerender and the character doesn't show up in the objects list anymore. Every once in a while they'll both show up fine when i delete and re-add them to the scene, but when i move them around they loose their surfaces again.
The current live version does not handle multiples of the same model very well when applying material presets.
This causes the swapping of materials between figures and the permanent mislinking of materials for that scene from that point onwards.
This causes blank surfaces and/or daz surfaces not being selectable in the plugin.

Well, Genesis seems unaffected by this.Isotemod wrote:The current live version does not handle multiples of the same model very well when applying material presets.

Problem is I hate Genesis.

Yeah i figured this out yesterday. THe cops i used were the same models, just a little modifying to the faces to make them look different. Octane didn't see them as being two different figures and it swaps the materials out just like you said. I just created a whole other figure and it's working fine now. Hope that they fix this kind of issue in the future though.
