I tend to have way to zoomed in textures on my models (i guess that means I model them too small .. but I usually stay on the default grid visible in blender). So I want to scale the texture.
How do I do this properly in blender with octane plugin? If I download a textured material, I can unwrap and in the UV editor grab all vertices and scale it up and down to change the texture detail on the model. But that to me feels like a noob error I'm doing.
I also noted there's the "Full Transform" nodes with scale xyz fields often present in the material nodes ... attached to the the various bump/diffuse/etc texture nodes. I guess that is the proper way to scale a texture with the XY values (Z being ignored on a 2D Texture) - so I can eliminated the many transform nodes and just connect one to all the inputs (why are there even several? I don't see why you would want to scale the diffuse, but not the bump map?).
Or do you scale texture detail in a totally different way and I'm doing it totally wrong?
