Octane / Lightwave 3D save animation error

Render animations in an animation file (AVI, QT, etc,) is not supported currently (this is a limitation of the LW SDK AFAIK). You need to save the individual animation frames and later use a video tool (or the Lightwave itself, using this frames as an animated background texture) to load the frames and save an animation file.beardedfellows wrote:Hi guys,

Thanks for that, is there a way of automatically save frame after frame? also i tried to export scene as ocs and open with octane stanalone but id doesn't support the file.
You only need to set the frame range in the rendering options, setup a file name and file format for the images and press F10beardedfellows wrote:Thanks for that, is there a way of automatically save frame after frame? also i tried to export scene as ocs and open with octane stanalone but id doesn't support the file.

And if you don't have a program to put the images into an animation format, use the backdrop capabilities to do it.
Load the sequence into the background; set your camera size to the same as the pics; set up your movie settings and hit f10. (Using the lw renderer.)
