Thea Presto 1.3 will support sss, instances, gpu+cpu and some minor features.
It already supports anisotropic reflections and multi layer coating (limited for gpu)
The best feature is the distribute render...it works!
I connected all my gpus together and works a lot better than Vray RT...It's not necessary anymore to build custom and expensive gpu boxes.
I hope it will support relight on gpus.

Unfortunately it supports only the activeshade framebuffer, very unstable and not all material transformations are realtime.
Also the geometry transformation is slow as iRay and Vray-rt

Octane rocks because has its own framebuffer and many unique features.

I updated the comparison with the latest software releases.
In the previous test I had not turned on caustics in Vray.

Strange. Keyshot unbiased has more "biased look" than biased one? Caustics has artifacts that look like photon map.

yes,
Keyshot is hybrid.
precomputed caustics in bias mode are more detailed.
During the "path tracing" process caustics are too much blended.
Keyshot doesn't use path tracing algorithms in fact is not possible to port it on gpus.
Also Keyshot is not ok for interior renders, the result is flat because the kernel clamps many light informations.

why thea presto is looking bluish? it´s because of emision temperature?,i know this isnt the topic to talk about it but why does iray and furryball 4.6 has displacement function and its only gpu??? nvidia supports that option.

because the light temperature, I forgot to change it.
As regard the displacement I think is possible to implement it on gpus but it will sucks a lot of vram.

Corona is a not a GPU render, still in Alpha, and it is, surprisingly fast.
Don't know How does it deal with caustics.
