Hi Karba!

Can't wait for any updates on the plugin! Keep up the awesome work! :)

(I'm totally new to both 3ds max and the octane render, so I apology if this function is already available through scripting etc.)

But I really miss the option to pause the render between each frame while rendering out animations in 3ds max. Simply to give the cards a chance to breath. This option could either be a pause between each frame, or at certain intervals. (Render for 25 minutes - pause for 10 minutes - render for 25 minutes)

Another thing would be the option to just set the render time for each frame, instead of maxsamples. Naturally each frame is different in complexity, but this option could still be useful.

Best,
Chris

wouldn't be better just to mod Your rig to provide enough airflow so You don't need pauses & longer production times? what setup are You runing?

Glimpse:

That would naturally be needed as well. I'm running 2 gtx 690's and two gtx 780ti's. This feature is more an assist, and not a replacement for proper cooling.

I normally start my renders before I go to bed, and hope the gpu's are alive when I wake up :)

If I could make sure they got some rest during the night, that would be a very nice feature.
