Very nice Chris. My only two observations are [1] your logo animation in the last one seems rather long - half that length would feel about right. [2] Too much bloom on the last one (blue gem with diamonds).

I can imagine that PBR has had a very profound impact on your jewelry business, just like for so many of us in other industries. Clearly, having the ability to see how light is going to interact with gems, metals, diamonds etc is huge for you -- and previz for clients to sign off before making custom pieces must be incredible.

Great stuff pal. ;)

I totally agree with you! As you can see in "Blast" its allready shortened and i am working on a new one at the moment, where liquid gold is........ah u will see it. But particles and Octane is.....hmpf! I want version 2 and Volumetrics.......yesterday :-) And Jewelry and Glare...hm...it is sutch a temptation everytime to overdose sutch effects :-) I have to hold myself back!

Thanks for your feedback buddy!

Hi Friends!

a new one is online:

https://vimeo.com/86229452

This time nearly 4000000 Polys give you some EYE candy!

Mode: Pathtracing
Rendertime about 3 hours

The next animation that will come, will be my biggest so far. I think you will like it, but it will take some days to render!

Have fun watching.

Chris!
