hi, Guys.

So, with this test I'll stop somewhere here for now =)

If You wish to get Your hands on scene files & play Yourself take a look here: Lounge Chair Free Scene - everything included & You can read a bit more,'bout how & why the scene was setup the way it does.

in adition, had some issues with my PC lately, but rather then testing stability with some artificial stress-test I've put realworld workload trying Daylight animation with Octane Render (version 1.37) - check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMJAPpGIJVs

Cheers

That is very nice.
I love it when something like a chair and two walls etc looks so nice. I like seeing fast cars, robots, pin-up girls, night architecture, snails, monsters and clouds...

but this is is now added to my list... chairs :D

Makes me want to relax and have a nice cold beer.
Maybe that's the mood you were shooting for?

Anyways: simple but beautifully done.

Thanks for nice comments, Guys.

..on a texture side I found them to be 'a bit' too low..renderin'-out 4k these textures feel lacking definition.
So now I'm trying to play around with hand-painted 8k maps to enhance them..- Update following soon..

P.s. for those who would like to play with model, check this thread for free download

You know there's a sweet ottoman that goes with that chair.

best,

Yeah there is.. =) however the chair is only a dummy here =)

I'm trying to make myself some scenes - where I could quickly drop in & test some(furniture) objects..but I need some believable environment first & speed too - it's not good if You need to wait while You want to work =)

cheers

P.S. small bump (just upgraded first post)

I like the wall and floor textures very much. Both are amazing!
The updated render has much better mood, the first one was too blue, however I can imagine such a furniture which won't look nice in this kind of light color, but maybe I'm wrong.
Please keep this post updated!

Hi, Deadakos.

Actually short article is done, I'll do some small tweaks, pack the scene & tomorrow You'll find this to download for free =) so You can play with it as You want, changing models, textures, light, while getting reasonably fast output.

Cheers
