Well, the intention with the project changed along the road. First of all it is just fantasy and I am fully aware that the end result maybe is a bit weird. Anyhow it was done as an animation in Modo.

Yes I thought it could be something organic pumping like something or producing energy before I saw the video.
It looks like it's soft muscular tissue such as located in the heart, and you have tazers giving out sparks and runing the pump of the engine, am I correct :)
or it's a heart testing unit
