If I decided to go mad and blow a lot of money on a custom PC (which may happen later in the year), would this one be as good as it seems.

Does anyone have any experience of the company, or the machine itself?

gordon, I have an opinion: you are doing yourself a real disservice and throwing a lot of bread out the window if you buy a high-end beast like that at those boutique prices.

You could, and should, build this yourself. For less than half.

If you have some spare time at all, you could be building something similar as a side project. It is not rocket-science, but you will learn a bunch and know thy beast inside/out.

And maybe folks are slow to respond when you say "later in the year". Shit can change quite a bit in that period. Some dudes are resistant to get involved until someone is truly ready to pull the trigger.

Have always shied away from building myself if I'm honest. Maybe that's what I need to do for my next machine. My big fear is that I know very little about things like liquid cooling etc, and if you have someone build it, it at least has some kind of warranty. Teh machine I have just now was from a company, and when I got it I priced the components, and it was only about 10% less.

My current machine will take another Titan, that will most likely be my next upgrade. Spec wise, am I write in assuming it would be a good machine to have though?

I'll perhaps looks at pricing the components for the future.

I got ya bro. I am just letting you know it is not as hard as it looks. Yes, you could destroy a lot of expensive shit, but you would have to be a complete dumbass with dodgy motor skills to eff this up...

But gordon, if you have someone else install that second Titan, that would be quite sad indeed.

Is thy beast sound?... For sure. It is a beast. A very, very expensive beast.

Cheers. hehe, no, wasn't planning on having anyone else install a second titan :). I'm up for that, including changing the PSU, which will need done.

I completely confident that I could build a PC, (I used to maintain IBM's biggest mainframes :) ). just not completely confident it would be as tuned as one like this.

Hi Gordon.
If I can suggest,
I think titan is cool enough with standard air cooling
You dont need that water cooling system.

I have 1x 680 and 3x 690 which hotter than titan
But with msi afterburner the temperature only 70-80 celcius

I think titan will be 60 - 70 celcius

If I were you. I prefer make standard air cooling and buy netstor turbobox gpu expander. Saving more money and later put 7 titan for rendering :D.

I use temjin 11 too. But I think titan dont need that expensive case for cooling.

Hope help :D
