Hi ...
I recently (a month or two ago) purchased Octane for Rhino and installed it.
It would seem that Rhino files since then became modified in that Delete, Move, Copy and Export do not include all the objects designated for those commands.
After I uninstalled Octane, cleaned up the file (a large architectural work in progress) on my laptop, rebooted my desktop a couple of times the file now seems to work properly. The older versions of the same file still show the problem so it seems that it becomes embedded in the file itself.
I don't consider that Octane is necessarily and specifically the problem but it appears that way. I look forward to a fix (if possible).
cheers,
eric

Hi Eric
It sounds unlikely that the plugin would impact the ability to Delete, Move, Copy or Export.
Was it happening on one Rhino file, or multiple?
Did you try the file cleanup and rebooting prior to uninstalling the Octane plugin?
Which version of the plugin were you using?
Do you still have a copy of the old Rhino file where the problem exist? If you are able to send it to me, I can investigate and discuss with McNeel as to why this would occur.

Hi Paul ...
Yes, I did try this prior to uninstalling and it did not work for me. I uploaded the file to Pascal at McNeel and he could not duplicate the problem. Without Octane loaded the cleaned up file works fine. It also works well on my laptop ... Octane is not installed there.
I have saved the damaged file. The file is fairly large 32MB but I can send it to you ... how do I do this?
I also purchased the stand alone version ... no problems with it so far ... just the learning curve.
cheers,
eric

Just to follow up on this.
I just did a fresh install of the Octane for Rhino latest version and the problem won't repeat so it seems it is solved.
